Mundic & Concrete
Mundic and other forms of concrete construction can require specialist assessment, particularly in older properties across Cornwall and Devon.
An inspection considers the construction, visible condition and any signs of deterioration, cracking or corrosion. Where specialist laboratory testing or further investigation is appropriate, this will be identified.
When Mundic investigation may be appropriate
Independent advice may be appropriate where:
- A property has concrete construction
- Mundic has been identified or suspected
- There is visible cracking or deterioration
- Concrete appears to be deteriorating or suffering corrosion
- Further information is required before purchase or lending
- Previous Mundic or concrete testing requires review
Building Defect Investigation
